Healthy weight

Being a healthy weight is vital for long term health and wellbeing.

Watching your weight can help to prevent long term conditions such as hypertension, heart disease, type 2 diabetes and even certain types of cancer.

The NHS Healthy Weight Service is a professional team with many years experience of promoting healthy eating and physical activity.

We work in partnership with schools, pharmacies, community centres and GP practices to provide sensible, practical help and advice to anyone who wants to make changes to their lifestyle.
