Exercise referral

Exercise referral

Ready to get moving?

The Exercise Referral Scheme helps people aged 16 or over to make long-term lifestyle changes and increase their physical activity.

If you have a pre-existing medical condition, or are recovering from an illness or an operation, you might be eligible for our Exercise Referral Scheme.

You will receive a 12-week personal tailored exercise programme. Exercise programmes will be based on the reason for referral, your health status and your personal preferences.

Classes include: Active for Life, Aqua for Life, gym programmes, yoga, pilates and swimming, and we have a range of local providers – just pick the one that suits you!
